GE - Lincoln Farm-Scale- Public meetings

Hello to everyone:

YOU ARE INVITED TO A PUBLIC MEETING TO BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER 7.30PM
THE FESTIVAL HALL MARKET RASEN

GENETICALLY MODIFIED FOOD THE FACTS AND THE FICTION

There are now more GM experiments taking place in Lincolnshire than in any other area of Great Britain.
What type of experiments are they?
Are they safe?
Will they have a detrimental effect on conventional and organic farming?
Will they threaten our wildlife?

Thousands of tons of GM food are being fed to farm animals every day.
Will this affect our dairy and meat products?
Will it have an effect on our livestock?
Is GM food safe to eat?
What are the risks and what are the benefits?

This is a new science and there are many questions that need to be asked.

We have organised this meeting in order to obtain some answers.

Guest speakers will include independent scientists and representatives from The Government The bio-tech Industry NFU Greenpeace The Soil Association

For good or bad, this technology will have a profound and lasting impact on our future. For good or bad, the effects will be here forever.

Please come and listen to the facts ask your own questions and then make your own decision. This is far too important an issue to allow others to make that decision on our behalf.

FREE ENTRANCE(donations appreciated)
